An innovative project under the theme of ‘Natural Farming’ — a Web-Operated Agricultural Rover designed to revolutionize farming practices was done by Aibel Antony and his team. This rover combines advanced technology with sustainable agricultural methods, offering a solution for ploughing, irrigating, and planting seeds efficiently, all controlled remotely via the web. Our project helps to improve productivity, reduce the environmental impact of farming, and make agriculture more accessible to farmers worldwide.”
Ploughing – for this I have used properties of a servo motor which rotates only in 180o.and it is connected to a device which move in alternative directions like a traditional ploughing wheel ,this loosen the soil and it is ready for planting.
Irrigation –A storage can is used to store water which then passes through a 12 V water pump and then sprayed through pipes.
Sowing- The seeds are stored in a bottle which opens into a pipe .A copper coil is wound on the pipe which is in turn connected to a free wheel of a cycle. The rotation of the wheel is thus passed on to the pipe which causes the vibration of the pipe, thus causes the seeds to come out through the openings provided.
